"The belief Cardboard Citizens has in you makes you believe in yourself." - Participant
Become a Friend...and help to shape the future of the UK's only professional theatre company working for and with homeless people.
In the upcoming year, Cardboard Citizens will reach over 3,000 homeless and other marginalised people through workshops and performance, provide 4,500 hours of paid employment for homeless and ex-homeless participants and reach almost 500,000 people through public performance, enabling us to change people’s perception of homelessness while simultaneously providing high-quality theatre.
In addition to the innovative work we do in homeless, by donating to Cardboard Citizens, you are supporting a groundbreaking theatre company. In the past few years alone, we have brought our unique style to such high profile partners and venues as the Royal Shakespeare Company’s The Complete Works Festival, the Belfast Festival, the English National Opera and the Soho Theatre.
